Glenna Wooten has explored new art forms for most of her life.  Her diverse interests are reflected in her jewelry through such techniques as Filigree (twisting and soldering wire into exotic shapes), Keum boo (an ancient Korean technique for fusing 24kt gold to silver), Precious Metal Clay (a very modern material which allows models to be sculpted at room temperature, which when fired are rendered in fine silver), as well as Fused Glass, enameling, and traditional silver-smithing.
